Charter Schools are required to ensure that all applicants shall have an equal chance of being admitted through a random selection process. What exactly is required for the lottery process? The presentation will focus on those legal requirements and compliance that charter schools should be aware of. It will also address Florida based preferences, written lottery policy guidelines, and the future of weighted lotteries in Florida.
