Rigor is the most talked-about topic when discussing education and standards-based instruction and assessment. Most educators are still confused about what rigor is and what it looks like. This webinar will examine the idea using different models that demonstrate complexity, such as Marzano and Webb to help participants gain a better understanding of what rigor looks like, why it is necessary, and how can we increase its use during instruction. The webinar will provide ideas to teachers, and administrators to help ensure students are experiencing a higher level of rigor throughout the educational experience. The webinar will be presented by Ms. Melissa Prado Aguilar, the President of Phoenix Educational Support Services, LLC.
