TSIA and How to Calculate your School’s Allocation

The DOE recently released the new instructions for the 2021-22 Teacher Salary Increase Allocation funds. We here at the CSU have developed a calculator that schools can use to assist in calculating the distribution of these funds. The calculator also includes a sample report and explanations that you may be able to use to submit to your district for review. The calculator is available now at https://charter.support/document/florida-teacher-salary-increase-calculator-2021-22/. During our webinar on Friday, we will walk through the calculator and how to use it to streamline the process of developing your TSIA plan. Please remember that districts must submit their plans by October 1, and that charter schools must be included in those plans. As a result, your district (if they haven’t already) will be asking you for your plans likely sometime in September.
