Interested in making your school more inclusive? Charter schools are committed to providing exceptional public education. In line with a commitment to set high expectation for students, charter school operators must ensure that schools are not just accessible, but successful in providing equitable outcome and meaningful participation for all students including those with learning disabilities. While there are some students who require a significant amount of support, the majority of students with special needs can be successfully educated in the general education classroom. Successful programs address the unique learning needs of all its students including students with disabilities. This webinar will explore Universal Design for Learning, Multi-Tiered System of Supports coupled with quality instruction and targeted interventions which can help to ensure that students with disabilities are able to access quality education programs offered by charter schools.
