Florida statutes contain several requirements for Charter Schools when it comes to conducting an annual audit. The laws state not only that an audit must be conducted by have specific requirements about how that auditor must be selected. This presntation will walk you through the process of selecting an auditor ranging from the bid process to what questions to ask and what to look for. We will also cover some basic information on what documents you want to start preparing to ensure that the audit process will go smoothly once the fiscal year has ended.
